1925 Mortgage loans for a brand new home at
90 Kendall Boulevard in Oaklyn, New Jersey

Note the interest rate for both loans was 6% and that the mortgage actually stated that the mortagor owed double the amount borrowed. The double amount would be invoked in the event of default, which tended to encourage borrowers to not default.
